We must first register an SP Utilities Account for our new property in Singapore before we can move in. This must be completed in order for your home to have access to water, electricity, and natural gas.
Because each account is associated with a unique name and address, you must create a new account for each residence that you intend to occupy, even if you already have an SP utility account. It is not possible to transfer your utility account. As a result, you won’t be able to simply move it from your old home to your new one.
If you’re moving out of your present home and into a new one, for example, you’ll need to close your current utilities account and start a new one at your new home. You can alternatively open a new utilities account with SP first, and then close your previous utilities account when you no longer need it, depending on your living situation.
You must open an SP Utilities Account regardless of whether you use an Open Electricity Market (OEM) provider or purchase electricity from SP. This is due to the fact that SP Utilities continues to furnish and bill for water and gas.

Step 2: Provide home address details
It will immediately indicate whether your new home address is covered by City Gas when you provide the address for your new home. GIRO
A GIRO payment arrangement can be set up in a few different ways:

Credit card
This is the second most popular form of paying for your utilities, after GIRO. When you pay with a credit card, you can potentially earn bonus miles or money.
iBanking
Select the billing organization (i.e. SP Services) from your online banking account, enter your bill reference number, and pay the amount shown.

AXS Machine
Bring your utility bill statement to any AXS machine in Singapore and scan the QR code or barcode to pay with your card or NETS.
Tip: There is a 1% late payment fee, so if you’re paying by non-automated means, set up a reminder of some form so it doesn’t slip your mind!
Terminate or transfer your account
If you’re a tenant, cancel your Utilities Account by filling out this form and either emailing or posting it to SP Services after your lease expires or when you sell your home.
If your account is on GIRO, after the last charges have been deducted, the GIRO arrangement will be cancelled.
Utility accounts are not transferable.
If you’re a landlord shifting utility bill responsibilities to a new renter, for example, you’ll need to close your account and have your tenant open a new one.
When you move, what happens to your utilities?
When you move, you must notify your gas, electricity, and water providers that you will be leaving your current residence. Following that, you’ll receive a final bill based on the final meter readings (remember to give your suppliers your new address so they can send this out).
