In some places, Fox News is provided as a premium tier through Bell, Rogers, Shaw, Telus, Sasktel, Videotron, and Cogeco.
How can I get all of Bell Satellite’s channels?
If you choose a different Favourites list than the one labeled All Chan, some channels may be hidden (All channels).
Press the GUIDE button on your Bell Satellite TV remote control repeatedly until All Chan appears on the TV screen to see all the channels.
If the channel still doesn’t appear (or appears but is inaccessible) and you’re certain you have a subscription to the channel, attempt the steps below to refresh the channel listing on your receiver.
For five seconds, press and hold the POWER button on the front panel. When the television service is restored, try tuning in to the station once more.
You can synchronize your programming if the channel does not reappear after resetting your receiver.
It takes about 15 minutes after you’ve completed the reactivation process to be able to watch or record programming. It could take up to two hours in some circumstances. You may see an error message on your TV screen while this is going on.
Examine all of the channels to which you’re currently enrolled, or use our online tool to quickly locate all of your favorites.
Is FX available on Bell satellite?
The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) gave Rogers Media permission to launch Highwire, a “national, English-language Category 2 specialty programming service devoted to the entire genre of action and adventure, including selections from crime fiction, epic and heroic drama,” in February 2011.
The channel debuted in standard and high definition on October 31, 2011, under the name FX Canada. At the time of its introduction, Rogers Media was the sole owner of the channel. However, on December 16, 2011, the CRTC granted an application for FX Networks to buy a 20% stake in the channel’s direct parent business and a 16.7% stake in the holding company that owns the remaining 80%, for a total ownership stake of 33.6 percent (with Rogers retaining the remainder). The channel was added to Shaw Direct on November 22, 2012.
FX Canada announced on April 15, 2013, that it had secured the exclusive local broadcast rights to future episodes of the soap operas All My Children and One Life to Live, which were revived in the United States through Hulu and iTunes. All My Children and One Life to Live were abruptly taken off FX Canada’s schedule on May 17, 2013, almost three weeks after their premieres and a day after Prospect Park announced a schedule modification for both shows that cut each week’s broadcasts to two episodes (from four). Reruns of 30 Rock took their place.
Rogers had planned to launch a Canadian counterpart of FXX, the U.S. offshoot channel that debuted in September 2013 and was home to various FX comedy shows. In the interim, FX Canada continued to air series that had been shifted to FXX. The Canadian version of FXX debuted on April 1, 2014, after being delayed from January 2014.
Bell Satellite TV won an agreement to carry FX Canada and FXX in October 2014, nearly three years after its launch; they were added to its satellite and Fibe TV lineups on October 10, 2014. Bell was one of the most well-known television providers that did not provide FX Canada, a fact that was frequently mentioned in FX Canada promos on its brother networks. The channel’s inclusion in the rebuilt Hockey Night in Canada was said to be a driving force for the agreement.
The channel began referring to itself as FX in January 2015, as well as adopting the current global logo.
What channel should Bell Satellite be on?
If you see the following on your TV screen, your TV may not be set to the correct input:

- Make sure your television and satellite television receiver are both turned on (a green or blue light will be lit on the front panel of the receiver).
- To cycle between all of your TV’s inputs, use the original remote control and repeatedly hit the INPUT or SOURCE key, stopping two seconds between presses.
- If cycling through the inputs doesn’t fix the problem, try tuning to channel 3, 4, 60, and then 73 on your TV.
This step will only work if your TV is connected to your satellite TV receiver via coaxial wire.

The positions of the Bell satellites in the sky are 91 and 82, respectively, and do not imply that you are aiming your dish at those angles. Bell had only one satellite at the time, the Nimiq-91. However, they needed to add a second one (Nimiq-82) to transmit HD networks as well as some international stations.

On Bell Satellite Canada, what channel is FX?
After hearing and seeing “NOT AVAILABLE ON BELL” since the channel began in October 2011, Bell Fibe and Bell Satellite TV users finally had FX Canada and FXX Canada added to their programming selection Tuesday morning. As part of the 12-year pact Rogers inked earlier this year, the addition occurred on the eve of FX Canada’s inaugural Saturday night NHL broadcast. Rogers owns both FX and FXX Canada.
During the regular season, FX Canada will broadcast a US-vs-US clash every Saturday night. In the next weeks, Washington will face Boston, Buffalo will face Chicago, St. Louis will face Chicago, and Washington will face Tampa Bay.
It might be a coincidence, or Bell finally surrendered after realizing they could be dealing with hundreds, if not thousands, of angry hockey fans every weekend for the next six months. There’s no official word on why Bell has been holding out for the past two years, but one theory is that Rogers wanted the channels as part of a bundle, while Bell wanted to sell them separately. Hockey, I suppose, triumphs over all.
FX Canada may be found on Bell Fibe channel 1331 and Bell Satellite channel 1290. It is available for free until November 13th, with no information on pricing after that date.
