ESPN3 is available through which cable provider?
To use the ESPN app on view ESPN3, you must first download the app to a streaming device that supports it. The ESPN app now supports the following devices:
- Android-based smartphones and tablets, including the Kindle Fire (running version 4.0 and above)
The methods to install the ESPN app and watch ESPN3 are outlined below. You’ll need to have your TV provider credentials on hand before proceeding. The username and password you use to connect into your live TV streaming service or other pay-TV provider accounts are your credentials.
- Go to your device’s channel store (in Roku’s case, it’s called “The Channel Store”).
- After that, you’ll be asked for the ESPN-compatible TV provider with which you signed up. The credentials from the TV streaming provider to which you are enrolled will be used to log into the service. (I used my Hulu credentials as an example.)
- The ESPN App page will refresh and list your TV provider once you’ve properly logged in.
- The ESPN app has been installed. You should be able to go to “Browse,” then “Channels” in the ESPN app and view any of the channels listed that your TV streaming subscription offers. (In my instance, Hulu)

- After that, you’ll be prompted to enter your username and password into your TV provider’s website (your credentials for that service)
- You’ve successfully connected your TV provider to the ESPN app. All ESPN branded channels, including ESPN3, are now accessible to watch live through your TV provider.
