Internet access is not available as part of a TV package. If you ordered the online package, your internet would be switched to our residential package pricing and internet, rather than internet necessities. You can certainly add a TV package, but it will be charged separately from Internet Essentials rather than as part of a bundle. What is the definition of internet Essentials?
Comcast’s Internet Essentials is a low-cost internet service. Since its inception in 2011, Internet Essentials has served over 10 million homes. This internet service plan, which was recently expanded from 25 Mbps to 50 Mbps, costs only $9.95 per month. However, not everyone has access to Internet Essentials.
To be eligible, you must be qualified for certain government assistance programs and reside in a Comcast-served area.
With Xfinity, what streaming services are available for free?
There are several limitations. An qualifying set-top box with Xfinity TV and Internet service is required to access Peacock, Disney+, Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, and YouTube on Xfinity. A subscription to Disney+, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, SHOWTIME, HBO MAXTM, and Hulu is required. Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, YouTube, Tubi, Xumo, Spotify, and Pandora all use your Internet service and will use up your Xfinity data allowance. The programming may change at any time. Streaming content is only available in the United States.

Why am I unable to view Xfinity Stream on my television?
Make sure your device’s WiFi is turned on. Check that your device is linked to your Xfinity home network, not the Xfinity WiFi network or another wireless network. Restart your device and launch the Xfinity Stream app to see if it recognizes your home network connection.
Is it possible to watch Netflix on Comcast without having access to the internet?
What happens if the Xfinity service goes down? You won’t be able to stream Netflix on your TV if your Xfinity TV service is down. If your Xfinity Internet is up and running, you can use it on your laptop or mobile device.
