I don’t have cable or an antenna, so how can I watch PBS?
You can browse all of the programmes available to you by going to the Shows category on the website. From Call the Midwife to Nature, NOVA, and Masterpiece, there are thousands of hours of programming available.
However, you won’t be able to watch live-streamed programmes right now. To compensate, PBS usually publishes full episodes of new shows the next day after they premiere, so you won’t have to wait long.
PBS Anywhere Apps
You don’t want to watch PBS on your computer? You can watch PBS Anywhere on all of your devices if you download the PBS Anywhere app.
Both iOS and Android mobile devices and tablets are supported by PBS. The PBS Anywhere app is also available for Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, and Windows 10.
The content available on the PBS Anywhere applications is nearly identical to that available on the PBS website. You can watch free web-only clips and show previews, as well as entire archives of most currently broadcast PBS series.
PBS Passport
You can’t find full episodes of your favourite PBS series on the internet? It’s conceivable that your programming is restricted to PBS Passport subscribers exclusively.
PBS Passport is a programme open to all eligible PBS contributors and supporters who make a yearly contribution of at least $60 or make a monthly donation of $5 to their local PBS station.
Free PBS streaming is restricted to currently airing series and shows. Without a Passport membership, you won’t be able to watch shows that are no longer on the air or have been preserved on the PBS website or app.
In total, you’ll have access to over 1,000 episodes of content, as well as Ken Burns’ rotating films and other unique historical and lifestyle programmes.
To participate, simply contact your local PBS station. If you’re already a donor, you’ll be eligible for Passport straight away. If you are not, you must donate in order to be considered.

What is the procedure for adding PBS to Amazon Prime?
Films from the past will always hold a special place in our hearts. PBS Masterpiece is the place to go if you want to see some of the best old films. Streaming is accessible for popular TV shows from the past several decades. You can also look forwards to titles that will be released soon to add to your collection of must-see movies.
However, some people are confused about the differences between PBS Masterpiece and PBS Passport. For a monthly price, PBS Masterpiece is where you may get streaming titles. PBS Masterpiece, like other streaming services such as Discovery Plus, Paramount Plus, and Showtime, is a great addition to your streaming library.
PBS Passport, on the other hand, contains PBS content but does it in a different way. It is not a conventional streaming subscription, but rather a member perk for those who have donated to the local public television station.
Acorn TV, on the other hand, is a good option if you want more variety and possibilities in your streaming channels. Various British television material, shows, and TV series are available through this streaming service in countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Mexico, New Zealand, Canada, Spain, and Ireland. The addition of international films to your streaming library will be ideal.
With so many alternatives, it is hard to keep up. That is why Amazon has made it easy for you to stream all of your Acorn TV and PBS Masterpiece titles. Both streaming services are now available as add-on subscriptions to Amazon Prime Video Channels.
Is PBS available for free on Hulu?
PASADENA (California) Because you heard that PBS was now available on the cable TV alternative service, you signed up for the $50 YouTube TV cable alternative app to watch Monday’s edition of Frontline through streaming.
Yes, in December, PBS finally entered the digital age and made its programming available to cord-cutters via an app that includes the whole lineup of local PBS stations. However, in the nation’s second-largest TV market, Los Angeles, many of the iconic series are either not accessible in first run (like “Masterpiece”) or are available several days later (like “Frontline”).
PBS is also still unavailable on other streaming providers such as Sling, AT&T Now, and Hulu with Live TV.
PBS’s response is that there already an app for that, and it’s called PBS. Possibly the best streaming deal available.
The PBS streaming app, which is accessible on Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV Stick, and other platforms, contains the whole PBS show lineup, but with conditions once again. Unless you donate a minimum of $5 a month to your local PBS station as a “Passport” member, or a tenth of a monthly payment to YouTube, programmes come and go quickly.
By comparison, CBS’s All Access app costs $5.99 a month and Hulu costs $5.99 a month for an ad-supported home to view network series from ABC, NBC, and Fox one day after initial airing.
