Hello, Michael – Unfortunately, the grid is controlled by DocumentProperties > Grid and per display mode (in your instance, Options > View > Display modes >Shaded > Grid). ‘Use document setting’ is one of the options in the display mode grid settings, and it should set things up the way you want them. Have you had any luck so far?
In rhino, how can I modify the grid?
Select Millimeter or Inches from the units tab > Model menu. Make sure your unit is compatible with the Distance Display. Set the grid snap and grid spacing on the Grid Tab. Note: For feet and inches, a grid unit of 12 (or 8) is optimal; for metric, a grid unit of 10 is best.
Is there a way to disable Isocurves in rhino?
The PictureFrame command creates surfaces and assigns them a display mode (specifically, the Rendered display mode), which may or may not be the same as the current display mode. This works the same way as the SetObjectDisplayMode command.
Out-of-the-box Isocurves are not displayed in Rhino PictureFrames. You must have altered the default Rendered display mode because yours does.
To change the display mode, go to Rhino Options > View > Display Modes > Isocurves were rendered and turned off under visibility.
