After you submit your application, it will take a month for your name to appear on the BESCOM website and on your bill. Please come back to the office and inquire if your name does not appear. You can also check the status by calling the BESCOM helpline at 1912.

One thing I’ve learned is to avoid talking to persons who are lingering outside offices or on stairwells and may be brokers who can read our faces!
At no point should you give up or be concerned. The worst that can happen if you try to perform the work on your own is that it will be little delayed, but it will be completed satisfactorily.
