What Is Xcs Gasoline?

PETRON XCS is a premium motor gasoline that is mixed with 10% bioethanol. In comparison to gasoline, bioethanol is a natural and renewable fuel that burns cleaner and has a better octane rating.

What is Xcs’ octane rating?

100 Euro 6 | PETRON Blaze This is the country’s only Euro 6 compatible fuel with a 100-octane rating. That is, it provides tremendous performance while adhering to strict pollution regulations. It has 80% less sulfur and is ideal for high-performance automobiles.

PETRON XCS | A 95-octane high-quality premium gasoline with a ‘Complete Combustion System.’ It contains an additive that is designed to provide faster engine response, superior engine protection, and maximum fuel efficiency.

PETRON Xtra Advance | Keep in mind that this is the fuel that cleans your engine and has been proved to increase its efficiency. This is a normal grade 93-octane gasoline that is safe to use in all gasoline cars.

PETRON Super Xtra | ‘Super’ because it is extremely inexpensive, making it ideal for individuals on a tight budget. Nonetheless, the multifunctional detergent chemicals in this 91-octane fuel clear hazardous engine deposits while also protecting the fuel system from corrosion.

TURBO DIESEL PETRON | This high-performance diesel is designed to get the most out of today’s contemporary engines, including fancy CRDi technology. It not only cleans the fuel injection system, but it also improves performance.

Diesel Max by PETRON | It’s designed to enhance fuel economy and pollutants while also cleaning the fuel injection system thanks to its detergency properties.

PETRON Xtend AutoLPG | This alternative fuel helps cut fuel and maintenance expenses while also producing cleaner exhaust emissions for individuals who have installed an AutoLPG conversion kit in their car.

What is the difference between Petron Xtra and Petron Xtra Advance?

Allow us to share the good news with you: beginning today, all gasoline fuels sold by Petron stations are Euro-4 compliant. That means cleaner emissions, which, as far as we know, are available at no additional cost from the Philippines’ main fuel company.

In July 2013, we received our first Euro-4 gasoline, the Blaze 100 Euro 4 (RON 100). This premium gasoline exceeds the Euro-4 criteria by having a sulfur level of less than 35 ppm (parts per million) and a benzene content of just 1%. Petron is now the only business to produce a full line of Euro-4 gasolines locally, with XCS (RON 95), Xtra Advance (RON 93), and Super Xtra (RON 91). And they did it six months ahead of the government’s deadline of January 2016 to make Euro-4 gasoline mandatory.

These fuels are already accessible at all Petron service stations in Mega Manila, according to Petron, and will be available countrywide soon.

What is the octane rating of Petron XCS?

Petron XCS: Complete Combustion System is a 95-octane premium gasoline blended with organic combustion enhancer additive technology for quick engine response, outstanding engine protection, and ideal fuel efficiency.

Is Petron XCS safe to use on a motorcycle?

Petron BLAZE 100, a 100-octane high-performance gasoline that satisfies European quality requirements; Petron XCS premium gasoline with complete combustion system; and Petron XTRA ADVANCE for proven fuel efficiency are all available to motorcycle riders.

What exactly is XCS Plus?

Tomorrow, Feb. 13, 2000, Petron Corp. will unveil its most sophisticated unleaded gasoline. The new XCS Plus Valvemaster fuel is a novel fuel that performs better than leaded. It reflects Petron’s strategy of launching new petroleum products that target specific market clusters, as well as the company’s response to the upcoming required phaseout of leaded gasoline on April 1, 2000.

During the Valentine concert of two of the country’s finest performers, “Concert King Martin Nieveraand “Concert Diva” Zsa Zsa Padilla, Petron’s XCS Plus Valvemaster will be properly introduced. At 8 p.m., Araneta “The Big Dome” Coliseum will host the concert “Divine Madness 2000.”

Currently, leaded gasoline is used by the majority of car owners in the United States.

While lead is widely recognized as a dangerous and environmentally unfriendly element, it is the component of gasoline that lubricates valve seats and protects them from wear and strain.

Associated Octel Co. of the United Kingdom, Petron’s fuel formulation partner, stated that XCS Plus Valvemaster is the only unleaded premium gasoline with a phosphorus-based lubricant in place of lead to prevent cars against valve seatrecessions. It also has greater detergency, resulting in cleaner exhaust emissions while maintaining top-notch engine performance. The world’s leading maker of fuel additives is Associated Octel Co.UK.

The gasoline will retain all of the well-known properties of the present Petron XCS brand in terms of power, clean burning, and fuel economy while adding the new Valvemaster features.

Petron chairman and chief executive officer Jose A. Syjuco Jr. said research studies commissioned by the company’s marketing group found that, despite being aware of the adverse effects of lead on the environment, motorists still believe their cars perform better on leaded gasoline.

“They are concerned about the potential harm to their vehicle’s exhaust valveseats if lead is not present.” They are concerned that their vehicle’s performance would be harmed since the lead that aids in octanerating will be removed,” Syjuco explained.

The XCS Plus Valvemaster, according to Petron President Khalid Al-Falih, provides more power, faster responsiveness and acceleration, higher fuel economy, and lower tail-pipe emissions.

XCS Plus Valvemaster is now available to motorists who want confidence that the unleaded gasoline they will ultimately have to put in their vehicles will operate just as well as leaded fuel. This new unleaded premium gasoline will be accessible in Metro Manila’s 60 Petron service stations at first.

Is premium gas free of lead?

Because it has an octane rating of 90 or greater, premium gas is commonly referred to as “high octane.” It’s a non-leaded crude oil by-product that contains detergent additives and is less polluting. The ability of a gasoline to tolerate incorrect combustion in an engine is measured by its octane rating.

What is the octane rating of unleaded gasoline in the Philippines?

“The Philippine National Standards (PNS) set a minimum RON of 93, which is just slightly higher than the 87.5 AKI mandated by the Philippine Clear Air Act. The Department of Energy requires RON postings at service stations. The minimum octane needed for a vehicle varies by make and model, although it is primarily determined by the engine’s compression ratio. While some cars can still run on 91 RON, most current vehicles require a higher octane level. The higher octane requirement stems from automakers’ desire to create vehicles that are more efficient, not only in terms of power but also in terms of fuel efficiency and pollution.

“When it comes to diesel, the cetane number is sometimes misunderstood as a measure of fuel quality when it is actually a measure of the fuel’s ignition quality. The kind and quality of crude oil refined, as well as the boiling fractions that result, determine the cetane number of diesel fuel. The required cetane number is determined by the engine’s design, size, speed, and load fluctuations. Using diesel with a lower cetane level than the engine’s minimum need will cause rough engine operation, higher engine deposits, and increased exhaust emissions. A minimum cetane number of 50 is required by the PNS for diesel fuel.

“‘But when oil giants rake in massive profits at the expense of our economy… that should open them up to deeper investigation by government agencies like the DOJ…’ you said in your piece. Our financial statements are publicly available because we are a publicly traded firm. Indeed, SGV and UA&P recently audited our records at the request of the DOE-DOJ Task Force to see whether oil corporations were making excessive profits.

“They came to the conclusion that our profits under deregulation were significantly lower than they were when the market was regulated. They also noted that changes in local pump prices were in line with global crude and product market pricing patterns. To put things in perspective, our income of P33.36 billion (not P35.18 billion) from the commencement of deregulation in 1998 to 2007 is similar to what other corporations earn in a single year. Petron’s Return on Sales is less than three percent, according to our public records (please refer to attachment 1). This indicates that for every P1 sale, we have a net margin of less than three centavos. This is far less than most other industries in the country (please refer to attachment 2).
