First and foremost, you must assemble a few basic components. These can be purchased separately or as part of a package that includes or excludes your radio controlled car or truck. You’ll also need nitro fuel, a glow igniter, radio transmitter and receiver batteries, and a small screwdriver.
Make sure your glow igniter is completely charged and ready to use before you start. Make that your controller (transmitter) and the car’s onboard receiver have batteries attached. By manipulating the steering, throttle, and brake, you can make sure they’re all working properly. After all, once your RC car is operating, you want to be able to operate it! Fill the car’s nitro fuel tank to the desired level. Fuel is incredibly flammable and dangerous, so use caution!
